Purpose
The Australian Rollingstock mailing list was created to serve a need for
many Australian railway enthusiasts to find out more information and be active
in the rolling stock area of railways. To work along side AusLoco, this list
will keep the many off topic posts relating to rolling stock out of AusLoco
while at the same time, allowing users to direct any motive power related
topics in AusLoco.
Topics posted to this list, can include anything relating to Australian
railway rolling stock, covering anything hauled by a locomotive (freight, passenger,
works), rail motors, EMU's, DMU's, on any guage. List members are encourages to
post any questions and answers relating to rollingstock mentioned above. Members
are also encouraged to post any interesting rollingstock sightings and known
future workings.
Rules
There is only one simple rule at this point. Keep your posts on topic.
If a thread happens to begin to move off topic (i.e. fails to mention rollingstock
any further, please take the discussion to private, or to the appropriate forum
for it).

related websites, how to access the files and calendar area of our mailing list.
